February Half Term

February Half Term Holiday Club

Dear Parents & Carers,

Holiday Club will be held at our Countess Way Campus. We will be open, Monday 12th February – Friday 16th February 2018.

On Friday 16th February 2018 we will be taking the children to the Tring Natural History Museum, this is approximately 45 minutes away in Tring. Bookings will be made on a first come first serve basis and there are only limited spaces available throughout the week.

Friday 16th February 2018 – Tring Natural History Museum

We will be leaving school at 9:00am and will return at approximately 5:00pm. All children should be at school by 8:30am. Any children who arrive late on this day, may be left behind as we will be unable to wait and a refund will not be given in this instance. You are still required to provide your child with a water bottle, snacks and lunch for the day. It would be really helpful if all children could bring their lunch in a named carrier bag, so it can be thrown away once they have finished.

Please ensure your child wears appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather, so we can ensure we have as much fun as possible. Remember this is an outdoor and indoor trip so we advise coats and comfortable footwear..

Please ensure you fill out the emergency contacts sheet if your child is booked for any outing.

Session Times

Please see below a reminder of our session times and prices. There will be a charge for any children collected late and you will still be charged for any missed sessions.

Morning Session – 8:00-12:30 = £10.00 per session.

Afternoon Session – 13:00-17:30 = £10.00 per session.

All Day Session – 8:00-17:30 = £20.00 per session

Trip Days – These will be an all day session cost + an additional cost for entry and coach prices.

Morning and afternoon sessions will not require a lunch as these session times do not cover this, please only provide them with a snack. Children who are booked for an all day session will still need to bring a packed lunch and snacks with them.

Payment will need to be made via ParentPay or Childcare Vouchers by Wednesday 7th February to guarantee your child/ren a place in Holiday Club – We will add the amount to your Parent Pay account for you.

Please note – ALL of our planned activities are voluntary. We believe in giving children the freedom of choice and therefore children will not be made to take part in any of our planned activities, however they will be freely available to all children who do wish to take part.

Summer Holidays

Summer Holidays

During the Summer holidays, we had mountains of fun at Holiday Club. We went on trips to Woburn Safari Park, Green Dragon Eco Farm Park, 360 Play and then we held our very own Circus Day. We couldn’t stop laughing when our Circus Master made Mrs Johnstone dress up so he could juggle over her.

We also enjoyed lots of activities including, Sumo Wrestling, Baking, bouncing on the Bouncy Castle, visiting the local park, getting really messy doing Arts & Crafts, going on treasure hunts and so much more…

We are now super busy organizing for another exciting week in Holiday Club during October Half Term, the booking forms will be available really soon!

Easter Holidays

During the Easter Break we had great fun in Holiday Club. We enjoyed lots of different activities including mini golf on the school field, Art & Crafts, Just Dance, Bouncy Castle, Den Building, baking,  an Easter Egg Hunt and not forgetting our amazing trip to Mead Open Farm.

Whilst at Mead Open Farm, we had great fun feeding the animals, bottle feeding the sheep, testing our nerves on the ‘Extreme’ High Ropes, taking a tractor ride around the farm and we could not resist those Bouncy Pillows.

We hope to see you again during May Half term. We are currently very busy planning for another great week, so keep your eyes peeled for the booking forms!
