5c are really busy this afternoon, making their props for Horrible Histories episode. We have also started our script writing today! We can’t wait to start filming next week.

This week year 5 have been set 3 pieces of homework. This includes spellings (see list below), a handwriting sheet and each maths group has been set their own homework as well.

This week, you need to complete this mental maths task. It is made up of questions that will close the gaps that we identified this week. The questions and answers are included. Please review and grow any green answers as part of the task. This needs to be completed by Wednesday 3rd December.
Miss Snowdon
The children are really enjoying their growing project.
After our allotment trip we came back to school and made vegetable soup using the vegetables we picked.
Today we started growing our own cress. We are excited about watching it grow!
We made instructions as a class and then followed them to plant our cress. Now we need to remember to water them each morning!

We loved reading the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Last week, 5c were very busy preparing for our lantern festival. We made lanterns from willow and tracing paper, we also practised all of our songs so that we knew them by heart!
We absolutely loved performing at the lantern festival, we hope you enjoyed it too!
