On Thursday 28th January we held a bake sale at both Countess Way and Fen Street, an event we helped Valisha in Year 6 organise to raise money for The Vasant Devchandra Sharma Brighter Future Fund in aid of Great Ormand Street Hospital Children’s Charity to help support children suffering from cancer.
This event, combined with our Christmas jumper days, has helped Valisha raise a total of £587.18! Thank you ever so much for your support of this wonderful cause. Well done Valisha and well done to our Year 6’s for helping on the day, you were amazing!!!
We are holding workshops for children and parents in Year 5 and 6 to come and see how we teach Maths, Reading, Writing, Spellings and Times Tables and to give you ideas of books, websites and games to play at home to help with homework.
The workshops will be held in the Year 5 and 6 classrooms on Thursday 11th February.
There will be 2 identical workshops – one from 3.45pm – 4.45pm and one from 5pm – 6pm.
Please let the school office know if you would like to attend one of these workshops!
Thank you
Year 6 team

You may have noticed that we’ve moved classrooms! This decision was made to both stop the children from feeling isolated from the rest of the school and also to provide opportunities to allow our older children to be role models to KS1.
Children will enter and exit through the yellow double doors adjacent to the year 2 orange doors.
Today all the children in Foundation 1 learnt how to make pancakes. We talked about the ingredients and took turns stirring the mixture. Afterwards we ate (more…)

The children had fun exploring different jobs and talking about what they want to be when they grow up. There were lots of discussions about being police and nurses. However, tooth fairies and super Heroes were the most popular occupation!!
