Well done to all these children for showing Above Expected Behaviour this week! We shared a glass of juice and a cake to celebrate their behaviour and learning attitudes!
We’re very proud to have them in our team!
Some members of staff have been sharing our best practise with teachers from around the world at this year’s British Educational Training and Technology Show. We’ve partnered with realsmart, who have helped to bring our whole school online, to encourage others to showcase great learning to their community.
Please find this week’s homework.
If you feel your child is struggling to cope with the homework, please do let me know and we can create some extra provision for them.
Have a lovely weekend.
Mr Gray
As part of our science based superhero project, we’ve begun investigating electricity, magnets and forces. We’ve used child initiated learning to create some circuits and investigate magnetic materials.
This week’s homework is to be completed for Thursday 21st January.

Times tables are a really important key that helps children to unlock lots of maths concepts.
Year 3 and 4’s home learning this week will be to really practise our times tables.
By the end of year 3 – children should know their 2s,3s, 4s, 5s, 8s and 10s
By the end of year 4 – children should know all of their tables up to 12.
Here is a link to some online games to help the children in their learning. There are also lots of apps for phones and tablets available to download.
There will be times tables quizzes daily next week – with prizes for determination, most improved, growth mindset and top marks.
Have a lovely weekend.
Mr Gray
Today we had Sachiel’s dad in to help us in our learning about the Ancient Greeks.
We learnt how to say ‘good morning’ and ‘how are you?’ in modern Greek, as well as more important phrases like ‘Can I have a chicken kebab please?’!
We then heard a lovely story about how the Ancient Greek gods Zeus, Poseidon and Hades came to inherit the universe.
My thanks again to Sachiel’ dad, it’ so great to have support like this is our community.
If you feel like you have anything that you can contribute or if your company can link up with the school, then please do let me know!
Mr Gray
