In Year 1 our timetable changes to suit the needs of the children. The children move around the Year 1 unit with their class teacher and are taught in subject specific classrooms. The children follow either the class or an individual timetable that is displayed in the classroom and changed daily depending on the needs of the children.
Key Days for Year 1a:
Miss Draper’s Class will need their P.E. kits on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s.
PE kits can be left at school and will be sent home at the end of each half term.
Daily lessons:
Alongside maths, literacy and project the children in Year 1 will take part in daily phonics sessions to build on their phonics learning in Foundation.
