I’ve enjoyed my first day back after my 2 weeks paternity leave. Here is a photo of my son Ezekiel who is the latest member of the Brooklands family!
We have used lots of opportunity to explore mud in different ways! There was an opportunity of making a mud kitchen and a dinosaur swamp!
Thank you to MK Galley for the amazing experiences that we have had in ‘Big Art!’
We have had a great time this week pretending to be rabbits!
The children worked together as a team to create an underground rabbit warren. It was great fun!
Last week in Foundation 1 we have been learning the story Dear Zoo. The children have enjoyed learning the story and the story song. On Wednesday we went to the hall to practice moving like the animals in the story and talking about why they wouldn’t make good pets.
A few childrenĀ talked about their own pets and what they did to look after them. If you have pets at home please send a picture in to help your child share information about their pets.
We will be visited by Mrs KIngsman’sĀ guniea pig this week and will explore some more facts about pets. We will also learn where animals are treated when they are ill.
You can help your child’s learning by taking the time to talk about pets at home and visit the local pet shops to explore the types of pets on sale.
