Well done to all those who made a fantastic robot at home! They definitely help our immersive environment!
Today’s science lesson was child initiated where the class were asked to find different ways to sort a variety of rocks and soils. They showed great learning zones and used fantastic scientific language when they sorted by roughness, hardness and ‘shinyness’!
Please find the homework and spellings for this week. Maths focus is rounding.

What a fantastic term we’ve had! I’m really proud of all the hard work year 3 and 4 have shown. Please enjoy the holidays as they are a really important break for the children. Nevertheless there is still a bit of practise that the children can be doing each day.

Have a lovely weekend!

Apologies. Due to printer problems today, I have been unable to print off the homework. It will be given out for Monday but if you would like to access it, it is here:
Maths homework Vertical Chunking
Year 3 and 4 were lucky enough to visit the Caldecotte Xperience to ignite their new project ‘Extreme Survival’. They took part in bushcraft, archery and orienteering: skills people might need in extreme environments. Well done to all the children, they had a fantastic time and were brilliantly behaved.
Your children should have brought home a letter regarding the Caldecotte Trip on Monday 22nd February for their new project ‘Extreme Survival.’
This trip is in school hours so drop off and pick up is at the normal times.
As this is an outdoor trip, children should be dressed in clothes they don’t mind getting muddy, wellies or boots and warm, waterproof coats.
They should be provided with a packed lunch in a named, disposable bag.
