Stickman Story fun!

The children have loved the Stickman Story this week!
They have been making stick people.
They collaboratively made a tree house using the blocks and pretended to have a camp fire. They have been working as a team making a santas house using the wooden blocks and were very busy delivering presents to their peers and adults!

Well done everyone – lovely child initiated play working together!

Learning the Solar System

This week we focused on learning about our solar system. We all worked together to act out the planets orbiting the sun.

 

Some children were eager to draw and label the solar system.

Space Learning Outside

The children made their own space rocket with the crates and counted down from 10 together then went on a space adventure. The children made rockets and planets with the clay. They spoke about the different textures when sticking different items on the cardboard to make a rocket! What good engagement with our Space project outside!
