We had great fun wearing our pyjamas this week. We went into the dark room and cuddled up with blankets and cushions to have a ‘big read’. We sat listening to sounds of woodland creatures at night time as we imagined all the things that happen when we go to sleep.
What animals come out at night time?
What does the sky look like at night time?
What do we do before we go to sleep?
This week our big art was themed ‘woodland’. We had great fun exploring fuzzy felt shapes, creating trees with leaves, creating ink spray pictures and clay models.
At our school we uphold the UNC Rights of the Child at the centre of our aims, value and ethos. Our current student wanted to share the key principles of this with you.
All the children and staff had a lovely day chilling in our pjs! They loved sharing their books from home and talking about night time!
Well done for being so well behaved in your pjs! 😴
The children were very focussed with making their own patterns and could talk about them!
