We have been incredibly lucky to be a part of a big art scheme. This week we investigated space!
We have been exploring using clay this week to make some owls. Have a look at a few of our creations:
It has been very wet at times this week so we took the opportunity to investigate what happens when we mix colours together.
This week has been eventful with many late nights and lots of fireworks!
The children have had a wonderful time exploring fireworks by creating pictures and dances from firework shapes.
We have also really enjoyed role-playing a firework night bonfire, using drums to represent the bangs of the firework display.
Oohhh!! Ahhhh!!!
We have been making different patterns and creating repeated patterns using two colours.
We sing the song, clap your hands and wiggle your fingers,
Clap your hands and wiggle you fingers,
Clap you hands and wiggle your fingers,
Now we’ve made a pattern!
Can you find any patterns at home?
Foundation 2 are very lucky to be involved with a MK art gallery project working alongside our wonderful artist Miss.Broome. Each week the children will be engaged in a real sensory experience which relates to our project. This week it was called light and dark.
Very high involvement levels making a large rocket firework! They all enjoyed mixing all the paints to make new colours. One person said, “Look red and blue makes a girly colour!” (purple)
We will continue to make this throughout the week. 💥
You achieved this because…
You always have really good well-being and involvement levels.
You always believe you can challenge yourself and you help others.
You have a big smile every day 😀
You are so polite and caring!
Well done!
