The children in Foundation 2 have had a great time pretending to be doctors this week in Brooklands Hospital!
We have been learning to take turns in our play, listen to others ideas, develop our vocabulary and even improve our fine motor skills as we tried to use all the tricky equipment.
Jellyfish class have had great fun this week making representations of jellyfish.

We have had a very exciting week creating our own puppet shows.
We made sure that we had built a stage with seating for our audience. Some of us were the actors, some of us were the audience and we even had ushers to direct us to the right seats. Of course we had to buy our tickets before the show and we even had snacks available too!
We are getting to know our new classes; Jellyfish, Manta Ray and Starfish.
Of course we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to learn about the sea creatures that our classes are named after so this week we have created some beautiful under the sea pictures and models.
The children in Foundation 2 have been busy learning the rules of our school.
We have been learning our school ethos by creating our own Open, Grow and Believe medals using salt dough. We loved using different tools to create the correct shapes and Miss Jasper had to wait 3 hours by the oven for them to cook and turn hard!
After the shapes were cooked we decorated them with as much glitter as we could get our hands on because the medals are very special!
I think you will agree that we did a fantastic job!
