We were very lucky for Rebecca’s mummy to bring in their new litter of baby rabbits for us to see. We were very curious, asking lots of questions about the small critters!
Thank you for bringing in your beanstalks from home. We had a go at measuring the height that each beanstalk had grown to.
We have been looking closely at the flowers in our classroom and decided to create some observational drawings.
We have been having so much fun learning about how plants grow and change. The children took beans home over the Easter holidays and had a go at trying to grow their own beanstalks. We have spent the week looking at how to grow our own plant and the lifecycle of a flower.
The sun was bright in the playground so we had great fun investigating the shapes that we could make with our shadows and looked at the way that the shadows moved throughout the day.
We were amazed by the knowledge that the children had about how shadows are made and why they moved!
We had a great day dressing up as characters from our favourite books. The teachers were all dressed up too and we all thought that was hilarious! We had a long story time where the teachers shared their favourite stories with us all.
One of our favourite costumes was Rainbow Fish. She even had scales to hand out to all of her friends!
Miss Jenkins has gone and done it again! We loved the ‘Open, Grow, Believe’ song so much she’s written another fabulous song for us to sing, this one to remind us to use our finger spaces in our writing.
