Year 6 Day 3/4 Countess Way Residential

1st October 2021Mrs E Allen

We have had an amazing last couple of days filled with new and exciting activities.

We have done so many activities and we have laughed and made some incredible memories during our stay at The Frontier Centre.

We’ll be on our way home soon after our last activites and lunch.  The children are all looking forward to a good night’s sleep (although they may not admit it!)

There’s been quite alot of mud so we are hoping your washing machines are at the ready!

Year 6 Day 2 Countess Way Residential

29th September 2021Mrs E Allen

Another fun packed day!

Some of us got wet and muddy in the bog whilst practicing our skills of giving instructions and testing our trust.  More groups visited the high ropes and conquered the zip wire.

We have enjoyed lots of delicious food, including roast dinner this evening.

Year 6 Day 1 Countess Way Residential

28th September 2021Mrs E Allen

Another amazing first day on residential.

The children have had the time of their lives – they’ve climbed, tried archery, abseiled and conquered the leap of faith!

They are already finding the confidence to overcome intital fears and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them.

The bed making skills are coming along nicely!

Year 6 Fen Street Residential – Day 3

24th September 2021Mrs E Allen

The children have had another busy day!

We had lots of lovely sunshine and all the children embraced every challenge that they have been faced with.  The water activities were amazing and we even had a spot of swimming.  Some of the activities today were a little muddy too so we hope your washing machines are braced for the children’s return home!

The day has been filled with fun and laughter.

Year 6 – Fen Street Residential Day 1

22nd September 2021Mrs E Allen

Wow what a fabulous day!

We all enjoyed the assault course at Stanwick Lakes followed by a picnic lunch.

The first days activities brought challenges of height and some children learned to ride a bike.  After a delicious dinner we all walked in the dark with our torches and even saw rabbits at dusk.

Everyone slept well and we are up and breakfasted ready for more activities and challenges today!
