In February half term, Jozef in Year 6 attended a junior film makers course and worked with other children across Milton Keynes to make a road safety film. Last Saturday the films were premiered at Willen Lake and there was also an awards ceremony for the children who took part in the project.
Everyone at Brooklands is really proud of Jozef, who not only worked really hard and developed his skills in film making and technology to make the film but also was invited on stage at the premiere to talk about the experience!
Here are some pictures from the premiere –
Parents and Carers,
We hope you enjoy our video about how best to support us for SATs!
Remember – breakfast club is available for all year six children Monday 9th May – Thursday 12th May (free of charge) so that we can all have breakfast together as a team each morning of SATs week. Siblings on Fen Street are more than welcome to join us!
Well done to all childen at Countess Way this week for all your hard work! In particular the walk of fame children and the children who recieved a certificate for working at Well Above Expected behaviour this week. We’re so proud to have you all in our team here at Brooklands Farm!
Year 1 on Countess Way are going to Birmingham Sea Life Centre on Monday 18th April! Please come into school at 8am as we will be leaving promptly at 8.15am! Children will need to bring their lunch in a named plastic bag so we can throw all rubbish away when we are there. They will also need to be in their full school uniform.
We look forward to seeing you bright and early on Monday morning!
