Moving from calm to balance!

By Mrs S Taylor5th July 2015

Here are some lovely (and funny) pictures we took of 2c on their last day together before they move onto their next Brooklands challenge… Year 3! They have truly embraced Year 2 and have shown heaps of calm every day. It has been been a pleasure to see their ‘gotcha smiles’ every morning! Thank you for all of your support over the last year, I can’t wait to see them grow as they move upstairs!

Year 7 Transition – bring your bag!

By Miss Rebecca Snowdon30th June 2015

Hello year 7!

As from tomorrow, you will be starting your transition.  We are going to make the next few weeks as similar to secondary school for you as we can so that you can begin to adjust to the routine and expectations.   You will be following a timetable and will have a different teacher for each lesson, just as you will do when you go to your new school.

From tomorrow, you need to bring a rucksack or bag that is big enough to easily hold an A4 book.  This bag will carry all of your work books and learning equipment each day at school.

THIS BAG MUST STAY IN SCHOOL – it is vital you don’t take this bag home with you as it will have all of your learning in it.  We ask that until you leave for the summer holidays, you make sure this bag stays in school.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask Mrs Hern.

Good luck, year 7!

Year 3 Rockin’ away

By D Gray25th June 2015

Year 3 have had great fun today in Science learning about rocks. The children initiated some of their learning by deciding different ways to group their rocks and then we classified them by analysing the texture and appearance!

Keep on rockin’ Year 3!
