Year 3 had a fantastic on Friday igniting our Superhero project! We created some fantastic art work and even had a visit from Batman!
Class 2b were delighted to award another calm pin!
This young man is a delight to have in the class and certainly deserves his pin!
This week, year 4 became archaeologists and investigated the ancient Romans. They had an amazing day at the ancient Roman town of Verulamium near St. Albans, becoming Romans, touching and investigating real Roman artifacts and seeing some incredible mosaics that they were allowed to run their hands over.
The children were incredibly excited throughout and after their ignite day and they have some wonderful ideas for their project.
Today, year 6 visited Oakgrove Secondary School for their first taster of secondary style lesson and learning.
After a long walk, the children settled into maths problem solving activity completing lots of hand on tasks. The children’s learning zones were exceptionally high and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Miss Low visited No.10 Downing Street yesterday and met with David Cameron. She had the opportunity to tell him how amazing Brooklands Farm Primary School is!
We had a fantastic day at the safari park today, igniting our Ears, Tails and Whiskers topic. We just couldn’t pick our favourite part so here are some highlights:
During the half term Miss Owen’s Gifted & Talented Lyrical Dance troupe took part in the Milton Keynes Festival of the Arts for Dance, Music and Drama. They all dance beautifully and we are all so very proud of them!
