Year 4 Project – Endangered Animals Research

This week, Year 4 have been working hard researching Endangered Animals! They have found out all sorts of fantastic facts and have been amazing us with their knowledge and enthusiasm.

We have also been looking at all the continents in the world, as well as the names of the oceans. We know where the Equator, and the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn are too!

We have challenged ourselves to see how many countries in Europe we can name. Our class record on Countess Way is 40 European Countries! How many do you think you can name?

Create and Communicate Robots

Over the last few days, year 3 and 4 have undertaken the final aspect of our project: Create and Communicate.

Drop and Rescue Helicopter

Year 3 and 4 have had an incredible few days with the number of minutes they’ve racked up for our million minutes competition. We’re currently in second place in MK and Northampton with Mr Morrison’s class hot on our heels!

This weeks homework is going to be reading for at least 20 minutes per day.

As a parent, it’s also important to read with and read to your child so they have the example set for them.

Because of today’s charity marathon, we didn’t get a chance to do our spelling test or review our homework. Therefore, new homework and spellings will be given out on Monday.
