Upcoming local events:

There will be free food and drink and this will be a great chance to chat to some of the working group, find out more about the goals of the group and hopefully encourage a wider range of people to get involved.

The Big Lunch
The Big Lunch will be happening once again in Broughton & Brooklands on Sunday 5th June. This is a great community event and it would be brilliant to get as many people involved as possible. An informal planning meeting will be held on Thursday 28th April 9 to 10.30am at Broughton Pavilion.
Knit, Natter & Sew: Monday 10 to 11.30am @ The Broughton (Pub)
Do you like to make things? Would you like to learn or share your crochet or knitting skills? Or do you simply like to chat!
Knit, Natter & Sew is an informal group for anyone who likes to make things. Bring along what you are currently working on or join in knitting squares! No cost, just buy a cuppa and enjoy a few hours of good company.
Social Soup: Tuesday 12 to 1pm @ Broughton Pavilion
Are you retired? Over fifty and at home without kids? Would you like to meet more people in your local area?
Social Soup is a fortnightly group where you can enjoy some really good home-made soup and a roll (and occasional cakes!) all for £1.50. It is a chance to meet you neighbours and relax in a kid free space!
