This week in Foundation 1 we have been learning The Three Little Pigs story. Children have been practicing acting out the story with puppets. They have also been very creative by making straw, stick and brick houses (out of the large wooden bricks). Some children enjoyed building a farm from the small construction blocks and many children made pigs out of clay. We will continue this theme next week.
At home you can support your child’s knowledge and learning by exploring and talking about materials that were used to make your houses. You could also watch YouTube clips about pigs and other farm animals or visit the library to borrow books about farm animals. Have fun learning together!
