Today we had a great time learning all about chocolate and igniting our learning!
We learnt which climate the cocoa tree is best suited to and how farmers grow, prepare and send chocolate around the world. We then met a chocolatier who helped us design and create our own chocolate. We also got to try chocolate in different forms. We’ve learnt so much and had great fun! Yum!
First we designed our chocolate
Then we thought about a shape we liked and decorated it with different styles.
We got to smell and taste chocolate in its different forms from bean to bar.
Not everyone liked dark chocolate!
