The children were very interested and had lots of questions for Olly’s mum on Thursday.
They are also continuing to be very involved at the role-play hospital!
We were lucky enough to have the lovely Miss Kynaston come in to visit us! She and the children enjoyed seeing each other! The children enjoyed asking Miss Kynaston about her overseas school and what is is like to teach there!
Hopefully we will be able to exchange emails with the children in her class and share our cultures!
As part of National Poetry week on the 8th of October, we connected our Roman project learning with poetry. We learnt a poem about Boudicca, the children wanted to practice and rehearse this to share with you all. Here they are practicing the poem!
I wanted to share a spelling app that I have used at home with my own children. It makes learning spellings more fun and accessible to any children who might have access to tablets. Best of all the trial is free on the app store. The app is called spellosaur and the children are able to play games with their spellings! It is mostly suitable for children of all ages.
The children in Foundation 2 had a go at creating art using leaves and other autumnal objects. Have a look at our big Art Attack!!
We explored what our skeletons look like using a variety of different mediums. Have a look at some of our pictures:
We looked at the names of the bones in our skeleton this week. The children had a go at labelling a giant skeleton outside.
