This week we have been busy creating our very own chocolate factory with the help of Miss Broome. We now look forward to ‘inventing’ our own chocolate in our ignite tomorrow!

Last week year 1 had a fantastic time stepping back into 1666 to experience daily activities from the era. The children all looked fantastic and loved getting involved in our ignite day. This has sparked an interest in the children and their learning about The Great Fire of London has been incredible so far!

Today is the second session of Start the Art session with our partnership with MKG. Today’s autunmal inspired session was a great success welcoming in more parents and grandparents from the local community to enjoy creative exploration. The sessions will run until March at our Countess Way site from 10-11am on Monday mornings and cost £1. Please go to the MKG website to pre book.
The creative sessions are continued in the afternoon for foundation children and led by Brooklands art teacher Miss Broome.
