We had a lovely Christmas Dinner that we shared with our teachers and friends!
Here are the proud attendees of this week’s golden tea party! They were delighted to find that the golden tea had been upgraded and felt very posh when sipping from their golden glittery champagne flutes! Well done to all of them for being consistently amazing!
Congratulations to Sarina in class 1e who was awarded her Determined Pin today! Sarina is a great year 1 role model who always opens her heart to others by helping her friends take their next steps in their learning! Sarina has also been very determined to grow her own learning, especially in reading! It was lovely to share this achievement with her family!
I wonder who will be the first determined pin in 2016!?

Today we had Sachiel’s dad in to help us in our learning about the Ancient Greeks.
We learnt how to say ‘good morning’ and ‘how are you?’ in modern Greek, as well as more important phrases like ‘Can I have a chicken kebab please?’!
We then heard a lovely story about how the Ancient Greek gods Zeus, Poseidon and Hades came to inherit the universe.
My thanks again to Sachiel’ dad, it’ so great to have support like this is our community.

Class 5b are very proud that another child has earned their individual pin. They have demonstrated the qualities expected of a year 5 on many occasions and are a true roll model to the other children.
A huge congratulations for earning your pin. You have been working hard all term and shown that you understand Brookland Farm’s core values.
