Brooklands Farm at Parliament

By 19th June 2016

A selection of our school leaders had an opportunity to go to London to visit the Houses of Parliament.

We had a tour around the house of commons and lords. We then had a workshop with another school about how we can get our voice heard.

After the visit to Parliament we walked along Whitehall to see 10 Downing street, the cenotaph and horse guards parade.

We went to the National Gallery to see Brooklands Farm’s art on display!

Then as a special surprise we saw the cast of The Phantom of the Opera rehearse on stage for their West End Live performance.

By c pinder17th June 2016

Today we wished Mrs Francis good luck in her new journey to becoming a mummy! Year One had a special assembly to say good bye, along with spoiling Mrs Francis with personalised cards and lovely presents. We have loved having Mrs Francis in year one and we wish her all the best, we cannot wait to meet Baby Francis!

Charity Clinique event for staff – £120 raised!

By admin16th June 2016

Way back in March we organised a charity event for staff, in aid of Cancer Research. One of our parents, Roopa Chudasama, kindly organised for some members of the Clinique team at Debenhams to come and pamper us for an evening! It was a lovely opportunity for us to spend some time relaxing, as there’s normally no time for that in a busy place like a school! But more importantly, we were able to raise money for a charity very close to my heart. Many of our lives have been touched by cancer and we would like to thank Roopa and the Clinique team for helping us raise money for such a worthwhile cause.

NSPCC Community fundraising event

16th June 2016admin

Thank you to the families who joined in with our sports activities after school today! We had a great time challenging each other to see who could do the most keepy-uppies, or who could keep a rally going the longest. The number to beat for tennis ball bounces on a racket was 98! What a record, Anghad!

We have only raised a small amount so far, but hopefully this is the start of a much bigger amount which we can donate to such a worthwhile charity.

Watch this space for more photos of our fundraising activities which will take place this week and next. We look forward to seeing how much we can raise in total!

Celebrating Individual Talents

By Mrs J Gowen16th June 2016
Jozef in Year 6 had the amazing opportunity to develop his talents in ICT skills over February half term when he took part in the Junior Filmmakers Project. Here is a link to the road safety video he made with a group of other students from across Milton Keynes during this experience for you all to watch.
