An alien visited our classroom!
We had to check out the footprints to see what kind of alien came. We measured the footprints and our feet to see if the alien would be bigger or smaller than us.
We found out that the alien would be bigger than the children but smaller than Miss Jasper.
We have been learning about patterns this week. We understand that we need to repeat colours and shapes to make a pattern. These are some of the patterns that we drew this week.
We have been working hard on our owl project. We made a giant nest for the owl and, lots of owl models with the junk.
We were so excited to have mother owl come along to read the owl babies story to us. We loved hearing the story and have been engaged in role-playing the story together.
This Friday (18th November) is Children in Need and to raise money this year we are hosting our very own ‘spotty’ bake sale.
Please bring in a ‘spotty’ cake from home to donate to our cake sale. Please only bring a few cakes to sell.
Our bake sales will be held after school on Friday in your child’s small school.
We are also asking for a £1 donation to dress up in ‘spotty’ clothes this Friday. If your child does not have spotty clothes they are welcome to come dressed in bright colours too!
Let’s raise lots of money this Friday for a brilliant cause.
