Literacy In GPS (grammar punctuation and spelling) this week we have focused on sentence types and in literacy we have been writing a character description of an elephant. SC: Simple sentence = a verb and a noun. E.g. The elephant (noun) roared (verb). E.g. Slowly creeping down the lake, the elephant roared loudly. Challenge 2: Write 3 simple and 3 compound sentences about an elephant. Challenge 3: Write 3 compound and complex sentences about an elephant.
Maths We have been collecting knowledge on addition and subtraction, linking it to the inverse and estimating in maths. Task: Below are completed calculations using the methods we have been practicing in class. Can you use your understanding to check whether they are correct?
