This morning 5c looked at a picture book called ‘Belonging’, it showed how communities grow and change over time. We explored how this changed the relationships within the book.
In groups, we ordered the stages of the book which demonstrated how the community and relationships grew over many years. We also thought of key words to describe the relationships and thought about the community we want to create at Brooklands.
We had a class circle and discussed what ‘belonging’ meant to us and our community. Here are some of the words we thought of:

conversation
satisfaction
positive
We created our own Wordles to show our top 10 words to describe ‘belonging’. We had to write our most important word using our biggest writing and the least important in small writing.
