The police came to visit to tell us how important 999 calls are and the dangers of prank calls. They also discussed graffiti and the importance of looking after the environment. The children listened very carefully.
Yesterday, Year 3 ignited their new project by coming into school dressed as Victorians. They all looked wonderful and it really helped bring their project to life! Our Victorian visitor brought a number of artefacts in to show us, including chalks and blackboards, pens and ink, canes and chamber pots (which the children particularly enjoyed learning about!) Here are some photos of the learning that took place:
This week’s Golden Tea party was another great celebration of the children’s successes this week. The proud attendees were:

Unfortunately we seem to be having problems with photos on our website so there is no photo this week.
Here are the children who attended the Lower Key Stage 2 Golden Tea party this week. They have all worked incredibly hard to get up to gold consistently throughout the week. Well done to you all!
Congratulations to the year 3&4 basketball team! We are so proud of you for being determined, resilient and balanced to achieve 4th place out of 45 schools in the over all competition. You did amazing at the final to reach the semis to be knocked out by just a few points. Well done!
Please keep an eye out for a black boys next coat age 10. Inside is black and red and the coat has a hood with fur. Please bring to Miss Sheridan if you find it.
