Year 4 are learning and experiencing percussion instruments this term. Today they were challenged with the questions what is rhythm? You can ask them and see if they remember! We also learnt about beats and pulse.
In the pictures you can see us using the Djembe drum. The children found it interesting that this was used many years ago in African tribes to send messages between tribes, the old fashioned mobile phone! Maybe we could use this to send messages to our family over at Countess Way!
