Wow! Lots of you have achieved your’Determined’ pins now. I’m so proud of them all.
Here are two children who were amongst the first to achieve the pin in the year 1.

Handwriting success in Year 1 and 2!

Year 1 and 2 are working really hard on their handwriting.
In Year 2, we have introduced the terms ‘ascenders’ and ‘descenders’ to help them position their letters correctly on the handwriting lines.
In both Year 1 and Year 2, the children are familiar with the story of brave monkey and scared monkey to help them understand which letters start at the top pink link (brave monkey’s branch) and which letters start at the top grey line (scared monkey’s branch).
