Early Years Hub Launch

We have launched our Early Years Hub. It was brilliant to meet so many keen and eager early years practitioners! The discussions and idea sharing was very thought provoking!

 

We are working with all practitioners that work with children under 5 (schools, nurseries, child minders, children’s centres…).

The aim of our hub is to;

  • Create a network between early years providers in Milton Keynes.
  • Build friendships.
  • Sharing good practice and CPD opportunities for all early years practitioners across Milton Keynes.
  • Increase communication and collaboration between early years providers in Milton Keynes.
  • Improve the percentage of children that are deemed ‘ready’ for starting school.
  • Focus on school readiness, specifically writing.
  • Aid transition to school.

A Special Assembly

Charity Make up event for the teachers – part one!

A big big thank you to one of our wonderful parents, Roopa Chudasama, who kindly gave up her time on Friday evening to give the teachers a make up lesson! We had a great time, following Roopa’s step by step guide to create a day time look and an evening look. Roopa not only gave up her time, but provided us all with amazing goody bags full of products from Mac, Boobi Brown, Clinique, Origins…and more!! As well as it being a great opportunity to have a girly get together, we also raised at least £230 for Great Ormond Street Hospital! The next session will take place at the end of the month, so watch this space for more photos and a total amount raised for such a worthwhile charity. Thanks again Roopa!

Early Years Hub

We are inviting all early years professionals around Milton Keynes to join us at the launch of our new hub (11th January 2016 5-6pm, Countess Way Campus).

The project that is being rolled out across Milton Keynes is about building long term relationships across all of our Early Years providers so that professionals are supported to do the very best job they can for the children in their care. We aim to improve our practice and learn through sharing our experience and knowledge.

Christmas Golden Tea party!
