NSPCC Community fundraising event

16th June 2016admin

Thank you to the families who joined in with our sports activities after school today! We had a great time challenging each other to see who could do the most keepy-uppies, or who could keep a rally going the longest. The number to beat for tennis ball bounces on a racket was 98! What a record, Anghad!

We have only raised a small amount so far, but hopefully this is the start of a much bigger amount which we can donate to such a worthwhile charity.

Watch this space for more photos of our fundraising activities which will take place this week and next. We look forward to seeing how much we can raise in total!

A Taste For Music 2016

By V Holloway26th May 2016

Brooklands Farm Primary School Choir did a FANTASTIC performance on Friday evening at Holiday Inn in CMK. They performed at ‘A Taste For Music’ concert, alongside other school and adult choirs, to raise money for Willen Hospice. It was definitely the biggest audience they have performed to with hundreds of people watching as they sang!

They performed 4 songs and performed Super Trooper from the hotel balconies along with the other singers taking part!

Every child grew their talents, opened their ears and hearts and most of all believed in themselves and each other! Miss Holloway and Mrs Odell are incredibly proud of every single one of them. Whilst there was a lot of excitement (and a late night!), they sang beautifully, shared GOTCHA smiles and were proud ambassadors for Brooklands Farm.

MKFM were supporting the event by taking photos and videos, please take a look at their website!

And it does not stop there!

Brooklands Farm Choir will be performing at the Big Lunch at Broughton Fields School on Sunday 5th June from 12.30pm. It would be lovely to see as many of you there as possible to support our choir and local community.

Thank you for coming to talk about how babies grow!

By Mrs l Jenkins15th May 2016

(I’m sorry if the photos are not all the right way around- technical hitch)

Starfish class enjoyed Friday morning as they were listening, talking and asking Calum’s mum lots of questions about babies. Lots of the children had high levels of involvement and understanding about how babies grow and change. Calum was very happy to show his brother off and made sure he had lots of cuddles! Thank you again for coming in.

something fishy….

By J Francis29th April 2016

We have had a fantastic week adding to our environment, make sure you come and have a look if you haven’t had a chance already!

The fish are now well settled and the children have been taking responsibility for them each day.

Today we got creative with the paint and bubble wrap to create a colourful ocean scene…
A massive well done to those children who achieved the Determined Ribbons this week…I wonder who will be next….
Have a lovely weekend!
