The children had very high learning zones applying maths independently. They have been making number words using the letters, and writing them. Making 6 in different ways and finding out about number bonds to 10. Check out the number bond song on youtube and ask them if they remember the number bonds poem.
9 and 1 are number bonds
8 and 2 are friends
7 and 3
6 and 4
5 and 5 are twins.
