Well done to this week’s attendees of the Key Stage 1 Golden tea! It was lovely to hear how hard everyone is working already. Lots of great learning and super behaviour! Well done to all!
Welcome back to the new term and the new year to all of the children and families in class 2D. This week we have been spending our learning time focusing on science and in particular animals including humans. We have been looking at healthy eating and what it means to have a balanced diet. This weeks homework will be encouraging children to keep a food and exercise diary so they can see how healthy their lifestyle is.
Next week we begin our project on Chocolate and will spend time focusing on climate zones that are perfect for growing chocolate. We will also be reading the Roald Dahl book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory so maybe this could be a book that you also read at home.
Once again we wish you all a happy new year!
Mr Morrison and Miss McShane
I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the parents who were able to come in to see their children’s work. We are all really proud of what we were able to achieve in our Roman project. We hope you liked it.
A big congratulations to everyone who has achieved their open, grown and believe pin or achieve pin! Here are some photos of our class celebrating our achievements.
Our Year 5 children recently completed a series of Computing tasks including creating an algorithm and taking apart a lap top computer to review what makes it work! Click the following link for a sneak peak video!
Well done to this week’s Golden tea attendees! We had a great time celebrating their achievements whilst enjoying delicious biscuits and juice. Well done KS1!
