We have had a great time igniting our Nelson Mandela project. We’ve started our journey by researching about Mandela’s life and communicating this learning within our own comic strips.
This is what we’ve done so far…
Here we are in our second dance lesson where we are learning and practising ready for November’s lantern festival! We are in high learning zones and full of energy! We are looking forward to showing you all soon!
Today we became historians! We used historical evidence to look at the chronology of the Roman Empire! The children used QR codes to look at Roman websites on their ipads!
We also wrote down questions that we would like to find out. This will help us to shape our future lessons! There was a lovely buzz of excitement in 4C today and some great learning zones! Well done Year 4!
WOW! What a super start to the week. Year 1 started their lanyard learning today and showed me just how responsible and determined they are to take their next steps in their learning! They were able to independently choose the activity to complete on their lanyard and even achieved learning zones 4 and 5!
I am incredibly proud of each and everyone of you for being so determined!

Well done 3B you have been amazing resilient learners this week. You have tried hard to maintain learning zones 4/5 and have been great at working together to keep wellbeing high for everyone in the class. We have started to form strong relationships within the classroom and we are becoming a great team together! I am extremely proud of you all! Keep it up!

You have all made us very proud this week! We are impressed with how well you have settled in and shown kindness to each other. We are also very impressed with your tidying up already! We cannot wait to see you on Monday when we will begin to explore our first project ‘You and me’ and find out lots more about you and your families.
